I obtained a degree in agriculture at the university of Padua, getting the qualification to the profession of agronomist.
I specialized in oenology reaching the title of oenologist.

I started my job as manager and oenologist in a major winery located in Collio. Here I got my first important results, which will mark the foundations of my personal style that combines elegance and freshness with great complexity.

The Gambero Rosso-Slowfood wine guide judged my 'Gräfin de la Tour' the best white wine of Italy. 'Gräfin' is a Chardonnay, a very well-known vine in the world and very much cultivated in Italy. I won a challenge with many other producers who had already obtained excellent results.

I got the Gambero Rosso wine guide title of oenologist of the year. This was a highly coveted title, the crowning achievement of every professional career, a recognition that also went to the wines I had made over the years.

In January I got a recognition from the National Association 'Città del Vino' as Ambassador Emeritus for my passionate work carried out in favor of the Friulian wines.

On May 18th at the Cavalieri Hilton Hotel in Rome - premises of Bibenda - I was awarded the 'Wine Oscar' as best oenologist, Medal of Representation of the President of the Italian Republic. This international award sealed indelibly and definitively my interpretation of wine.
This important and prestigious recognition came to crown my professional successes together with all the other awards I had obtained even after embarking on a career as an oenological consultant.
